Flea Market : Bab el Khemis 

We went to the flea market of Bab El Khemis in Marrakech. Like any flea market of the world, the best is not to look for something special, but just appreciate to be there. A special atmosphere belongs to that kind of market… The flea market of Bab El Khemis is well known in Marrakech.

Nous nous promenons régulièrement aux puces de Bab El Khemis à Marrakech. Comme toutes les brocantes, ils ne faut pas y chercher quelque chose de précis, mais juste se laisser porter par l’atmosphère qui se dégage de ce type de marché. La brocante de Bab Khemis est bien connue à Marrakech.

You can find anything there… from a rug to second hand shoes… furnitures from the 30’s… It is a real souk located in the north/east part of the medina.

On y trouve tout et n’importe quoi… des lacets de chaussures aux meubles des designers des années 30… en passant par les tapis, ou autres babioles du Maroc. C’est un souk à ciel ouvert très photogénique.

Thusday is THE Bab El Khemis day. But you can also wander and hunt for treasures over the week-ends ! A must visit!
Le jeudi à Bab Khemis, c’est le jour ou il y a le plus d’exposants. Mais si vous y allez le weekend c’est sympa aussi ! Bonne balade !
